A file counts when its first transcription succeeds. Creating a draft or uploading a file does not count. Failed or canceled transcription does not use part of your monthly allowance. While processing is underway, one file is temporarily reserved.

A successfully transcribed project is kept for 30 days from its first successful transcription. A draft is kept for 30 days from creation. Opening it or retrying unsuccessfully does not extend that time. If a draft succeeds before its deadline, its 30-day period starts from that first success. Studio shows the applicable deletion date; a later date already promised is preserved. Download anything you want to keep before that date.

Yes. Reopening a project, editing word selections, bleeping again, or retrying the same source does not count as another file. After the first successful transcription, start a new project to process a different source file. You cannot replace a source while it is being processed.

Every account-specific month, on your allowance anniversary. Free starts from your first Free allowance activation; paid allowances start from your paid access activation. Check Studio for your exact next reset date. Annual or custom invoicing does not change the monthly allowance cadence. Unused allowance does not roll over.

No. Deleting successfully processed work does not restore that part of your monthly file allowance. Deleting an unused draft does not count toward the allowance. You can free storage by deleting files, but storage space and monthly file limits are separate.

Free has no trial deadline. Your monthly allowance and individual project retention dates are separate: an allowance reset does not extend a project’s deletion date.

Projects stay available while paid access is active, including the paid-through period after you schedule cancellation. Once paid access ends, surviving projects are kept for at least 30 days from that end date. A later date already promised is preserved. Reactivating paid access before physical deletion clears those deadlines while paid access remains active. Download work you want to keep before its displayed deletion date.

Studio shows which resource is exhausted and your next reset date. You can wait for the monthly reset; Free and Starter customers can also compare plans with more allowance. Pro is the highest offered plan. A reset does not restore deleted files or extend retention dates.

Yes. Open Settings in Studio and choose Manage Billing to cancel through the billing portal. Paid access continues until the end of the current paid-through period; the account then returns to Free.
